TidyFolk was founded in 2025 by Trent and Shelley after years running a Managed Service Provider for small-to-medium businesses across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.

Before starting TidyFolk, Trent and Shelley ran Absolute IT, supporting businesses where accuracy, systems, and accountability were critical. In IT, missed details create real risk – that discipline still shapes how TidyFolk operates today.
At the same time, Shelley was already providing commercial cleaning and saw how often standards slipped. TidyFolk was created to bring structure, care, and consistency into an industry that often lacks all three.
When Trent and Shelley decided to leave the IT industry in 2025, they didn’t rush in. They researched the commercial cleaning market thoroughly, identifying where businesses were being let down and why.
The focus became small-to-medium businesses – offices and retail spaces that need reliable cleaning without inflated pricing or constant supervision. Products were tested properly, scopes refined, and systems built from the ground up.
This work formed The TidyFolk Standard. Every site follows a clear written scope, cleans are completed after hours, and the same trusted, police-checked team looks after each space.
